The Road Home

Of all the places you've lived, where is home?
Where is the place you go back to whenever you need a safehaven?
What are the memories that make it your home?
Home...where the heart is.
Home...where the good memories are, whether new or old.
Did you find home early in your life or in just the past few years?

No matter when in your life you found it...
There's no place like home.

Sometime home is carried in your heart. In the places you remember from your youth....

  5. I like to think I've not found my "home" yet. For now, it is wherever Prince Charming and my Girls are!

  8. Lovely post. I have been writing my personal history stories for almost two years now--some show up on my blog--and I have realized how improtant my "growing up home" was. My mother, especially, has a deep and abiding place in my heart and I miss her like the dickens. Thanks for this great post.

  9. Lovely post, wonderful thoughts. I truly believe home is where the heart is. My childhood home is/was very important to me...as were my grandparents' homes. They were constant. Always there. Full of love and fun. I hope I provided the same for my boys.

  11. "Pig with wings."
Well that is just how I feel when I eat Toblerone chocolate, not necessarily with wings but definitely a pig.
