  4. What a pretty bag. No tomatoes? Cherry tomatoes are sweet as candy around here, although the larger ones are taking much longer. If you do have tomatoes and some jalapenos, just rinse them off, plop them in the blender, add some fresh cilantro, give it a whirl and without adding one single dab of salt or anything you've got the world's best salsa.

  5. There is nothing better than a beautiful bounty produced by the love and hard work from your own hands.

  8. Most impressive! (I'm still waiting for all but the cherry tomatoes. I only planted tomatoes and peppers this year, but things go slow in this part of town in this part of the Southwest.)

  9. Yum! That is one thing I really miss at this house. There is no sunny spot in the backyard for a garden!

  10. Mmmmmm yum!

I'm in the mood for grilled veggies now and those look like they'd be fantastic on the grill with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

I think this has persuaded me to try and see if my thumb hasn't greened up the least little bit this year, and try my hand at planting...something.
