A Smorgasbord!
I just put in the glass storm door today. Can't begin to tell you how very much this has helped my birding/bird picture taking abilities! Two pieces of clear glass surely trumps one piece of screen! I am so very happy!
Yes, I think we're going to finally get rid of the old screen doors this year and graduate to the double glass storm door. Since they've been around for like 30 years, I'd say it's high time.
I'm also envious of your bird pictures. I guess I'm going to need a good camera with a good lens to capture the best pictures. My tiny zoom lens isn't that great. ;-)
Great shot. I love watching the birds at the feeder.
ReplyDeletewonderful photo!!! I dont like screens either (for taking photos though)
ReplyDeleteYay Annie! Did the squirrels get to that suet yet?
ReplyDeleteI was pretty excited, too, until I found out it wasn't THAT kind of smorgasbord. BWAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous shot...
Yep....helps make a difference for sure! The raccoons distroyed our screens years ago, so I never bother with them any more. Lovely downy!
ReplyDeleteI love the photo! Love the bird too! All I ever see in my back yard is squirrels and racoons!
ReplyDeleteHave the squirrels figured out that feeder yet?
Oh wonderful .. and what treat did that woodpecker get to have, it looks a bit like a rise krispies treat ...

The squirrels eat all the suet at our place. They have also devoured a bird feeder.
ReplyDeleteI can see my leaving it there until the next year. I'm way too lazy in that department!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I can't wait to see more! Put out the seed. Those poor birds will need it during and after Storm Bob!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. I love those kind.
