Claysville General Store.
The. Best. Southern. Fried. Chicken. Dinner.
EVER!
Outside of Columbia, MO, (and you'd never find it without a detailed map), Claysville General Store is open Friday and Saturday night and Sunday for brunch. It is a must do if you're in the area. All the food is fresh and homemade - and delicious!

Definitely looks like a meal in the midwest :-) I want that pie!
ReplyDeleteI enlarged the menu picture and I am amazed at how inexpensive the meals are priced.

Goodbye diet.

Now that would be a great experience!
ReplyDeleteMan, does that look good!
ReplyDelete...Oooo, YUM! Gosh, you'll have to give me directions to get there! My husband goes up to the hunting property outside of Moberly and after seeing this I'll have to tag along one day and we'll have to stop and eat there...seriously. :o)
ReplyDelete...Blessings...
Annie, what time do we go to WW on Monday? I forgot....
ReplyDeleteYou really get a big Hmmmh!
ReplyDeleteLike yummy Hmmmh!

Hmmmm... I'll have to look that up next time I'm in the area. Not often, but I was actually through Columbia the last time I was home. The trick would be hitting the schedule right.
ReplyDeleteDing dang diddly! Looks like enough for 2 meals on this plate! Ok. Make that 3. Looks darn good, too.
ReplyDeleteLooks good .. what is that to the right of the chicken?

Oh, yum! Looks delicious, and I'm still stuffed from a BBQ ribs & chicken dinner with my daughter's family. I really like places like this; they dish up real comfort food!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! You have to give me directions for the next time we stay over on a Friday night. That looks like JUST our kind of place!!
ReplyDeleteThat stuff looks great! The thing I miss the most since leaving MO, besides my family, are the biscuits and rolls. Just can't get a good one up here. :(
