So this is the way

Grand Central Station!

xoabb
there's strangeness all around!!
A gentleman went up to her and asked why she was dressed as she was.
She told him it was her expression of free thought.
I then went to him and asked him what she said. He told me about the freedom thing.
Then that gentleman asked me if I believed in the Holy Trinity.
Told him that was way too personal.
People!

some days I am overjoyed that I live on a dirt road and am as country as the day is long :)
ReplyDeleteamazing.
NYC - way to "interesting" for me!
ReplyDeleteI like the use of the silly bandz to really give the ensemble that "pop" of color.
ReplyDeleteamazing ... and yet so very typical .. those who are looking/paying her attention .. are not NYers .. she looks like she escaped a time machine in fact she's more covered than some of the teens I've seen recently
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's not doing anything for me either. Kooky.
ReplyDeleteI kinda like the whole thing....
ReplyDeleteWeren't you even a little bit tempted to talk to her?
ReplyDeleteI guess everyone has something to say/show. Enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteLOL - but why just underwear?
ReplyDeleteHa!! Now that is definitely a fashion statement!! But she forgot her hat!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your POTW

All those years at fashion school wasted. wait I think i know her.
ReplyDeleteI think she will go to MOMA next for free thought and art. I love this little story. You are lucky you didn't get literature slapped into your hand by the gentleman.
ReplyDeleteI really miss NYC sometimes. This little vignette just sums it all up. Hit Papaya King for me, will ya?
ReplyDeleteI met a Cher lookalike once, similarly dressed, except she was a man. The hands, yanno?
I really miss NYC sometimes.
Congratulations on your potw.
Oh how I miss my Grand Central Station on a daily basis-- You just never know what you're going to see or hear.
ReplyDeleteI love how you captured the moment and conversation. It was almost like being right back there. Thanks.
