Oh that's such perfect cat shot .. why do they always choose somewhere hard, sharp, or precarious for their perch/sleeping place? Gus ALWAYS sleeps on the coffee tablr sprawled across whatever is there ... his face against the hard edge of a ceramic tile ...
Ha! Harley did something very similar the other night ... and she did tumble off.
And don't you just love how when they do fall, the run to the other side of the room, sit down and start cleaning themselves ... as if to say "I didn't fall. I planned that as a way to come over here to get cleaned off."
Welcome to my little corner of this big old world we inhabit! Put your feet up and stay a while. You just might find something you like! xoxome, abb

ReplyDeleteDid he fall off? It sure looks like an "over-load" on the left. Mine would lean its head back to look at me and fall off for sure.

ReplyDeleteI think he wants some of that lotion;)
ReplyDeleteI am willing to bet as soon as he fell asleep he fell off.
ReplyDeleteThat pose defies all laws of physics - the cat should be tumbling to the floor. What a shot.
ReplyDeleteTrouble does the same thing and sometimes actually falls off. Then has a look on her face that says "How the hell did that happen?"
ReplyDeleteIt's a cat thing.

That cat is daring himself to fall off the counter.
ReplyDeleteOr rather, he's daring that bottle of lotion to LET him fall off the counter.
I don't know but that must be what my chair looks like as by butt hangs over it...ha ha!
ReplyDeleteHA! This just makes me smile. :) Sometimes I don't think they really know where their back half is going...

How funny! Y'know, if you purposely posed a cat like that they'd act like it was punishment. They love their creature comforts. Great shot!
