“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions.”

A very serene Sunday post. Patience can be very hard to learn in our stress filled "hurried" life. We've forgotten how to sit and wait in silence for God to speak into our lives.
ReplyDeleteLovely how the words match the photo .. definitely serene

Beautiful. I cannot believe that you of all people have not read any Rilke before. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links, because I will use them! The last sentence--"Live the questions." I love that. I love the whole thing, but that one three-word sentence really resonates with me. It seems to me that one must live the questions in order to get real answers. Now, aren't you glad I shared that tidbit with you? BWA!
ReplyDeleteAs always...beautiful pic/wonderful post.
I am so jealous that you have snow where down South, it will hit 65 degrees today.
ReplyDeleteHow appropriate your quote is for today.
Absolutely beautiful! I must go check out her blog...
ReplyDeleteAs always, a gorgeous picture as well.
...*sigh* I love answers tho'... I don't wanna love questions and live' em TSAnnie... I want answers. ;o)
ReplyDelete...That is a great quote tho' and thanks for the links too!
...Sunday blessings... :o)
I've never heard of Rilke before. I went to Ms. Mad's other blog and have been reading for a long while about her battle with cancer and her faith. Thank you for stearing me there :)
ReplyDeleteI need more patience. I have some, but not enough.
How absolutely gorgeous! As for Rilke.. the quote is perfect. I have a cousin who breathes Rilke, or I would not have known of him, either.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll ever get past wanting to know the answers. But I do live a lot of questions.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear them all.
ReplyDeleteI love this quote and that photo!!!! Wow! I will visit Ms. Mad soon. I love quotes. They stretch my wee little brain and make me think.
