I haven't a thought in my head worth sharing with anyone. Amazing how exhausting it is to sit around and worry. (But pleased to tell you there's less to worry about today than there was yesterday - things really are slowly improving.)
I want to thank each and every one of you for your kind thoughts and wishes. It is appreciated and loved by me (and mom & dad) more than I could possibly express. The best, I tell ya, y'all are just the best! Till the next sunrise, my friends, when I hope to be a little more coherent.
On another note...
Here's a bit of some CT side-yard scenery I came across last week while walking with MPM & Jules. Had no idea cactus plants grew "wild" and in this abundance in Connecticut of all places!

xoabb
expect supreme tiredness at times!
P. S. It is KILLING me to be without my camera! Mom has one, but its transfer cord is AWOL. I could very well have a complete and total melt-down over this. I am not kidding!
the cord is not awol. It is on the computer desk in the office. And, if not that, use the weird compact flash reader that is there.
ReplyDeleteYou need to get to the camera store or Best Buy and get whatever it is you need to use mom's camera. We cannot have you having a melt down. Do this for your sanity. For your soul . . .
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that things are better. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteNow listen to brother bum and get busy with Mom's camera.
Annie, just go get another little camera. Do it! Will call later....
ReplyDeleteAnnie... get a card reader its cheaper and easier than a cord and you can download pix from Mom's camera AND leave the reader for her ... Or go get a little disposable ... or use your phone .. glad to hear things are improving .. try to only worry about things like I do .. I had a headache this morning and was sure it was a brain tumor ...
ReplyDeleteI'm advocating for the card reader. It's faster than the cord.
ReplyDeleteDo it now, take pictures!
Hugs!
Oooooooh....I've never used anything other than a cord - and that actually is AWOL. I'll go look for that flash reader now! Thanks Bill for pointing that out. And if I can't find THAT? Off to the camera store for another one!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Hopefully, you are now at Best Buys getting that flash reader. Taking pictures releives stress.
ReplyDeleteGlad your parents are getting better. Caring for our parents is a very stressful job, rewarding, but stressful.
Go to the store.
Out here where the cactus grow wild and abundant I was surprised myself to learn that prickly pear acutally does grow in just about every state givin the right conditions! It's fun to finally see some someplace else! What's up with your camera? I'd have a melt down also! YIKES!
ReplyDeleteI hope by now you've been able to connect camera and computer and your stress level is rapidly decreasing.
ReplyDeleteJust thinking of you and yours from way up here.
ReplyDeleteThe cacti are amazing!
Readers are $8 at Wal-Mart. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI hope whatever has you distracted settles and that all is well soon.
I see others beat me too - readers are cheap and faster than the transfer cords really. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteand a gorgeous find
Beautiful! Glad your mom is doing better. Praying for all of you.
