Mario has been visiting Stella for the last week. Tho he weighs a mere 7 pounds compared to Stella's 78 pounds, he pretty much rules the roost. I am so embarrassed my baby lets that little thing boss her around! I thought I taught her better!

xoabb
expect anything!
At 4 pounds, Cassie bosses Maddie (7 pounds) big time.
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad when they won't stand up for themselves!
You know what they say, it's not the size of the package but what is inside the package that counts..small dogs often have a lot more in their package then the bigger ones...take it from one with at the moment 8 big ones and 1 smaller....the smaller one is dynamite on four legs..the bigger ones haven't a clue what's hit them...hahahaha..
ReplyDeleteOMG. That Mario is LOADED with personality.
ReplyDeletePerhaps he can play Sky Dog in the blog fest movie. I wonder who could play Uncle Tim?
I guess size doesn't matter . . .
ReplyDeletefor some things, then.
Sounds like Maxie and Nurse Nancy's Hope. Hope the herding Sheltie was being herded by the Bichon/Poodle mix.
ReplyDeleteI would prefer to think it's manners. Always make your guests feel at home.
ReplyDeleteToo cute and always the way.
ReplyDeleteSo cute .. and fluffy .. those little dogs are very bossy!
ReplyDeleteIt's a drop kick dog! Punt!
ReplyDeletehehehe!
ReplyDeleteThat is the most adorable picture!
ReplyDeleteNow that is some funny stuff;)
ReplyDeletedynamite comes in small packages, right? :)
ReplyDeleteMy 80lb lab is forever letting the little dogs boss him around. I think it's because he thinks they are cats or will act like cats, so he backs off, hahaha!
ReplyDeleteHe's just being the perfect host!
ReplyDeleteShe must have deep, southern roots in her genes.
ReplyDeleteWe had the same experience one time in keeping a neighbors Yorkie. I was worried our English Bulldog would eat her for a snack. In no time the Yorkie had the bulldog cowering in a corner!
ReplyDeleteShe must be in love;)
ReplyDeleteOur Dog = 95 lbs.
Our Cat = 7.3 lbs. (wet)
The Boss = The Cat
It's just basic math.
Little pups seem to have all the piss and vinegar when it comes to living with larger pups!! Pushy pushy! Bet Stella can't wait til Mario is gone!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little visitor! It's about the same size as my littlest cat!
ReplyDeleteStella-the hostess with the mostess!
ReplyDeleteI have witnessed the same thing - small dogs seem to rule. Potential thesis material! Just wanted you to know that I have been following your garden's progress through your blog - and it is looking good! Those tomatoes will be delicious is salsa! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAt 3lbs nothing, Godiva rules the roost around here. The other three cats - even the 19lb Maine Coon bows to her tiny awesomeness. One of these days though...she's gonna get a learnin' courtesy of the bigger cats and frankly I'm looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteStella is lovely...absolutely lovely and Mario is cute and knows it, I bet!
Snoopy Beth F's beagle was alpha dog over Dino the Great Dane. Goes to show power comes in small packages.
ReplyDeleteCute. 7 pounds in a POM is a LOT of attitude! My parents have one, and she definitely runs the farm.
