State grants. They ROCK!!!
(Obviously there's a LOT I need to learn about community gardening. Tools, wood chips, top soil, wheel barrows, organic fertilizers, you name it, is supplied to us because of a state grant!!! Who-da thunk??)
I want a community garden plot.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it as it grows.
I am jealous! I just want my dirt so we can get started....do you think they will let you take a couple of yards home?
ReplyDeleteI can smell a new book brewing: Community Gardening for IDIOTS. Good thing you have Remy to do everything;)
ReplyDeleteI could use some of the nice new free dirt, er, top soil.
ReplyDeleteWay cool. The race is on for the first ripe tomatoe! I just planted my garden Friday! I'll get some pictures of it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea....grow lots of good stuff and make us all jealous.
ReplyDeletenothing better than fresh veggies...that is priceless!
ReplyDeleteROFLMBO!
ReplyDeletehows the topsy doing? I love the community garden idea... and that they supply stuff way cool... cant wait to see how your garden grows... I am sure I will be drooling ...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great program! I can't wait to see the fruits (and veggies) of your labor!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Can't wait to see what you grow!
ReplyDeleteAre you going to have T-Shirts? That's because MPM's comment made me laugh and then I thought of the above.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do this. I should check out my area. PUSHING the wheelbarrow is my only ugh....
Wow, that's pretty cool, wish I could get a grant for my garden!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like something I would do...
ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAnn: Sometimes it is fun to do that if everyone plays fair.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great deal!
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that!
ReplyDeleteI've got my own garden plot in my yard. I live in fruit and wine country and have decided I don't need to be a farmer. I've just signed up for weekly farm to table boxes that will give me all the veg, herbs and fruit I will need. My back garden? I'm planting a cutting garden, lots and lots of beautiful flowers. You are going to have so much fun! Enjoy the bounty you will receive from your hard work.
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to clarify my comment above. I was joking about the T-shirts! Mama made me laugh with the book idea. I wasn't in any way suggesting you have T-shirts. Seriously. Promise.
ReplyDeleteTrying to figure out why here....
