ReplyDeleteIt looks like a squash or some type of gourd with its petals like this. But I have never seen one this color. And the leaves in the background are not assisting me, so I will have to wait and see.

I am thinking some sort of veggie .. fruit (other than tomatoes) grow on trees or bushes ... even tho excessive rain has to be factored into the growth curve I think its squash ... PLUS that's a squash blossom flower!
