Nurse Nancy and I work in an office suite in the middle of the school building which has not one window or door that opens to the outside. Usually this doesn't bother me, but in light of what went on last Friday, I do believe when I'm at work tomorrow the walls will feel like they're closing in. At least I can walk out into the hall and look out the door for a minute or two.
Just let me wallow for a minute.
I'll be in a better mood soon enough.

And, yes, my glass is still half full! (Always!)
There's quite an inviting view outside, with those lovely colors!

I hate not being able to see outside. I hate Mondays even worse. Hope your day goes better today, and if you figure out how to find that better mood, let me know because I can't find mine.
ReplyDeleteUgh - I hate not having some sort of window. I feel all boxed in.
ReplyDeleteMondays stink. That's all I have to say about that.
ReplyDeleteMissed you this weekend;)
I wish you'd come in and hung out with me on Sat. Sunday I did a lot of running around and some believe it or not holiday shopping ... I send you hugs .. I can look out the window but I cant open them .. xo
ReplyDeleteI dont like that closed in feeling either! We have lots of windows here.

I hate being closed in, too! We have lots of windows in our house and I love them. The job I had before I retired was terrific in many ways, not the least of which was a glass wall in my office and I could see forever -- or so it seemed!
ReplyDeleteHope your week goes well -- at least better than last week!!
Sylvia
Okay. We need to get caught up. Must have a glass of something after work today. Miss you!
ReplyDeleteI would totally hate not having windows. I work on the 3rd floor and one whole wall is windows. Albeit I overlook a parking lot and the interstate, but at least its outside.
ReplyDeleteMissed you this weekend!
I don't have a window in my office, either. But about 15 years ago, one of the parents, a talented artist, painted a window on the wall by my desk. The window looks out on a beautiful garden where it's always a sunny spring day. And when we painted our offices this summer, they left my window there.
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
Looking forward to February already, when I can come up and see you all!
I have to see the world I live in from time to time.
ReplyDeleteDoes the school district also supply the requisite straight jacket?
ReplyDeleteNN kept me apprised of the events of Friday - how sucky.
Windows make all the difference to our mood at times. Keep looking out at the world!
ReplyDeleteAnn: That was a neat view out the door with the tree ablaze.
ReplyDeleteWell, I hope you are feeling and doing better. I like the view out the window, even if the window is small.
ReplyDeleteI need windows. Working my way backward, so am anxious to see what happened last Friday.
