It's a quiet moment for the Bly animals that own us. Clockwise from the very large dog, (that would be Stella on the right), is Trey-you lounging as only he knows how to do. Then, of course, just above Trey-you, is Baby...that would be Stella's nearly three year old stuffed baby bear that she loves dearly and completely.

So there! That's the picture of the Bly animals that own us completely and entirely! And that's a very good thing. As Martha has said more than once. Amen.

Gorgeous critters... so sweet. :)
ReplyDeleteThey've picked the best spot for taking a break, too, nice and warm.
ReplyDeleteIs there room for another dog named Buddy? I think I see a nice spot right there in the middle. Get MPM to tell you what happened with my dog Buddy, a bottle of Windex, and my mother.
Oops, I think it was Fantastic not windex, but that detail really isn't germane to the heart of the story.
ReplyDeleteso lovely :) love me some stella and trey!
ReplyDeleteLOL @ CBW. And, it was a bottle of Fantastic, CBMother and some paper towels. Oh and a dog with a hygiene issue. 'nuff said.
ReplyDeleteI love it when the animals nest together!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how they can find the best sunbeams!! Great pic!

ReplyDeleteAh... purr-fection ... two good friends sharing some rays ...
ReplyDeleteRosie has a toy shaped like a kid's inchworm toy she carries from room to room (we have just the 2 rooms so she doesnt have to schelp it too far)..
I love it! What a sweet shot! And, yes, our home is ruled by our two dogs! Kids should have it as good as they do! Sam sleeps with his favorite toys -- Mojo sleeps with my son -- he's her favorite toy!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

I can't get a good look at Trey-you, but Stella is a GORGEOUS animal (German Sheppard, right?)
ReplyDeleteSo cozy.
ReplyDeleteAww, they look so content.
ReplyDeleteStella has had that bear for THREE years? Oh my, Sunshine (our puggle) doesn't keep anything stuffed for more than a couple weeks and I mean that literally. She chews a whole, un-stuffs them, then looks at you with stuffing hanging out looking like a rabid dog as if to say, "What? What did I do?"
Your animals are gorgeous!!
It's the warm sunlight and the relaxed position of these adorable babies that make this photograph a standout. Add to that the angle and the complicated pattern of the rug and we have one extremely nice and very adorable frozen moment. It is so nice to see a cat and dog lying side by side in perfect peace like that.
ReplyDeleteNothing better!
ReplyDeleteGood things.
ReplyDeleteGood times.
Some day I will meet them in person.
A very contented looking family! How come you aren't stretched out with them? That sunshine looks great. I think that I'd make a good cat.
ReplyDeleteThat is the sweetest! Those look like some mighty happy critters!
ReplyDeleteps Binky pics coming soon!

Ann: That is such a cute photo of the pair.
ReplyDeleteThat Stella is a lovely creature!
ReplyDeleteCute composition. We are owned by 3 pets here: 2 cats and 1 dog.
ReplyDeleteMy cats and my dog would never lounge so closely together. The only time my cats do is winter when the house is cold.
