Right now it's raining buckets in Connecticut. I'm hoping for a school snow closure day Friday, but since it's Thursday night as I'm writing this, and it's just raining like crazy with no snow in the foreseeable future, I have no idea if I'll get my wish or not. I'll either have the phone blaring at me around 5am announcing a snow day, or the alarm will blare and I'll have to drag my sorry a** out of bed so I can be at school by 7:45 am. Ugh!
Amazing...at this hour (11:15 pm) there's already a foot of snow in NYC and that's just 40 miles away from me! (We still have no snow.)

expect snow???
Our weather -- all over the country just gets weirder and weirder!! And just when you want snow, you get rain! I'm blowing snowflakes your way, although we had sunny skies here today! Love your photo! Hope you have a terrific weekend!

I wanted snow yesterday.. and I got it.
ReplyDeleteIn the form of three flakes.
sigh.
WV Prize.. seriously.. does that mean I get a prize???
Well, did you get that snow? If not, expect some in the mail from me!
ReplyDeleteYou must be happy now as you got your wish! My wish is that four of us were snowbound together, in a wine shop, with two decks of cards.
ReplyDeleteLet's all explain to Ann about how the weather can change....
ReplyDeleteI like winetippers suggestion. Just let me know when to be there...
ReplyDeleteIts still snowing here, I couldnt get to the subway so I called in 'snow day' ..and went to the park to take pix .. its still snowing here ..
ReplyDeleteI hope you got your snow day, but does that mean you'll have to make it up in the spring?
ReplyDeleteHow much snow constitutes a snow day for you? :0)
ReplyDeleteYou only live 40 miles from NYC? WoW! It always amazes me how close everything is there in the NE! Well, happy day to you & if you want snow... may you have SNOW!
ReplyDeleteLucky ducks! There's nothing like a good snow day.
ReplyDeleteGlad you get a day off even if you have to have snow to get it :-) Great shots of the tree with and without the snow. I don't see anyone sitting out there on the deck...fire up the grill! Ha!
ReplyDeleteFabulous snow pictures... please send some over here to the desert (i'll swap you for some sand?!!)
ReplyDeleteDon't you just LOVE the snow? It is like a free play environment for the kiddos! (NO use for toys when there is snow to be creative with!)

Love, love, love snow days. They're never, EVER on Wednesday, however, when I have art class. (That's OK today because Chic is home and I canceled class.)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are lovely, but love the one with the blue sky behind the snowy tree the most.
