expect anything!
Most trees around here have dropped their leaves, but we still have a few desperately clinging to their leaf-load (see above and here). And I must say, those left are still all kinds of beautiful shades! Such a strange autumn it's been this year. The trees all seemed to peak at different times, so instead of one big glorious autumn, we've had little bits of autumn glory here and there. Not bad...not at all bad...just different.
Spectacular autumn colours! It's true nothing makes you forget your worries such as a walk in the forest..it's so relaxing..;-) Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteJohn Muir was a beautiful man, with beautiful thoughts. Nature was his true love.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. It has been a strange fall. Most surprising of all was that the nor'easter didn't rip down every last leaf - we still have quite a few trees that aren't bare yet.
ReplyDelete(We must have been on the same wave length last night. Autumn and yellow leaves are my theme today too.)
Beautiful macro shot - the colors just pop!
ReplyDeleteIt's been an incredible autumn around here too. Lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteLovely...I'm surprised that you still have a few trees with leaves. One thing about Atlanta is we have so many pine trees that we always have green to some degree!
ReplyDeleteHere the trees go from live to dead with nothing in-between BUT the oak leaves seem to have fallen while on fire .. there are piles of red .. I was going to post them today but ... I thought a cute butt was more fun
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL .. ask them to hold on till the 5th ....'k?
For some reason I'm thinking of John Denver.
ReplyDeletebeautiful beautiful yellow
ReplyDeleteOh, my! This is a beautiful, beautiful shot!
