So coll...something for the garden next year?
ReplyDeleteArent all tomatoes fruit? Do the tomatillos have seeds? If so, they are fruit. Are they smaller then regular tomatoes? Do they taste different? They sure are pretty, your section of the garden did pretty well considering how rainy it was in June. Brava Annie!
ReplyDeleteIt DOES look like a little Japanese lantern, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteIf they have seeds, I think they are fruits...but I could be wrong!
OK now I will have to try one!

Did you plant those in the community garden? They are so cute;)
ReplyDeleteI think they're a fruit that is treated like veg. I'm told they're related to gooseberries.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot though I'm not a big fan of them.
I LOVE those things....but I'm not really sure what to do with them once I get them home:/
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture!
Oh that is awesome. I make the best tomatillo cream for nachos!
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed I would bow to you if you were here. I LOVE tomatillos. I've grown them a couple of times, but they never got that big. Mine were all tiny. I've never tried here because my garden is so tiny. Salsa is SO much better with these in them!
