SWF - The Spring Leaves...

Are finally beginning to unfurl!

5/7/9
Please do not expect blue skies here in CT.
They, obviously, do not exist anymore.

Tho, obviously, once they did,
And just a short few weeks ago!

P. S. Just to clear things up, SWF does NOT stand for Single White Female
(as one of my friends thought at first).

  2. Some of mine are - but the hickory and oak trees, not so much as you can see.

  9. Amazing .. I love how you've chronicled the emergence of those little leaves .. not sure why its taken your trees so long to burst forth with leaves ... all the trees here have been aburst for a week now ... ;-)

  10. We have an oddball oak that takes its sweet time going green every year. This past week, it decided it was time to explode with leaves. It was well worth the wait!!!

    I love SWF!!!

    Happy Mother's Day!

  12. LOL about the SWF mix-up. I like this series and can't wait to see them all leaf together. Did you mark your spot so you can get it right each week? We aren't seeing many blue skies here either. Rain, rain, rain. Someone forgot to announce that it is now May and that "April showers" can quit now.
