Sap is flowing - soon there'll be
Maple syrup. Yum!

Trees at their finest. Again,
Nature reigns supreme.

What a great title for this post. Those leaves look like maple syrup. I can smell it now...on pancakes. Oh man I feel my butt growing just thinking about this.
ReplyDeletelovely maple leaves. :)
ReplyDeleteyummmy beautiful fall colors!
ReplyDeleteMmm! Maple syrup! I think I'll make pancakes for breakfast. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful leaves! You can't beat maple trees for all the gorgeous variety of color! Sort of early for syrup, isn't it? My uncle's farm had an old sap house on it and dad took us once to watch them make the syrup. Lots of work, but yummy to eat....especially on "yellow pancakes" (a German variety I always loved)
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have got the hang of this photography thing ;^) Let me know when the pancakes are ready.
ReplyDeleteBeautimous!
ReplyDeleteI love the your photos - isn't fall the most beautiful time of the year?
ReplyDeleteSuddenly I am craving pancakes. You devil, you.

ReplyDeleteI like the title of this post. Your photos make me feel like I am there! I miss maple leaves in autumn! Sycamore trees along a creek help though.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding!! Just amazing colors...
ReplyDeleteYum! I love that first shot with the great varying colors. Terrific!
ReplyDeleteI live in the land of maple trees and in the fall, I never tire of them.
ReplyDeleteNothing really beats the sugar maple for colour although the sumac comes close. In Vermont we used to get our maple syrup by the
ReplyDeletehald gallon, here in Australia it comes in perfume bottles costing your monthly income!
Absolutely beautiful! And yum to the fresh maple syrup.
