It's Never Really Expected.....

Glory Over
Photo taken at 5:33pm, September 29, 2008
Mom just called to let us know that my dad's youngest sister has died. Aunt Margie hadn't been well for the last several years, but it's still hard to believe she's gone. She had a life very well lived, and though she was in her 80's, it seems her time here was too short.

One of my very favorite humans.
My Aunt Margie.
Godspeed...

  6. I'm sorry about your aunt and I think this is a very nice tribute to her. "To live in hearts we leave behind, is not to die". She'll live on in your heart. Beautiful photo of the folded flower and now you will think of your aunt when you see one like this.

  10. It's never the right time to lose someone we love.
Is that flower opening or closing. Is it a morning glory?

Peace be with you and your family, especially your father.
