Golfing with the Birthday Boy...

Dude! We really need to work on your form....

And that would be called a whiff.
It's certainly not a practice swing.
Men!
(young or old, whatever their age, they're all the same!)

Loving a GREAT round of golf with the Con-Man!

P. S. What a lovely afternoon birthday boy Connor-Man, his mom and I had! We played a 9-hole par-3 course and had just the very best time! I've definitely decided this is the kind of golf course for me! To heck with 18 holes! Who needs them? We three had a perfect afternoon - think we'll repeat it often!

  2. I've decided that the best golf course for me is the one where you play and then tell me about it later;)

  4. What fun .. Happy Birthday to Con-Man!

And I think Mama has the right idea, you play and then tell us all about it while we sip some wine and/or Original Sin (which contrary to popular belief is NOT made in NYC or seemingly sold anywhere on the UWS!)

  5. Looks like a lot of fun being had by the birthday boy :-) Style only counts if you are Tiger Wood. I'll stick with miniature golf :-)

  6. Yep, I'm with MPM. I like her version of golf. I've given up golf...not that I was ever good at it. I should give away my clubs...

  7. I can hit the grass farther than I can hit the ball and after putting a golf cart into the James River off the 9th hole at King's Mill Country Club, I have retired my clubs!

Glad you had a wonderful time and happy birthday to Conner!!

  8. I love golf...as long as I get to drive the cart!
I took lessons. Many lessons and it didn't change my game one bit. I sold my clubs.
Looks like you had a great day with Connor.

  9. I've never really understood the game of golf. I mean if the object of the game is to hit the ball as few times as possible, why hit it at all? Hmmm, with that philosophy I would win every time.

Looks like you both had fun! Happy Birthday to him!!

  11. I think I'm with MPM on this. Or maybe I might be willing to try my hand at Wii Golf, but the real thing? Um yeah, I'd rather not embarrass myself or potentially hurt anyone else. Putting sporting goods in my hands never ends well. Trust me on that. I can maim anyone with even the most simple of things like a frisbee. So putting a golf club in my hand would only end badly...as my former step-son can attest to after the last time we played putt putt and he ended up with a bruise on his shin the size of an orange. But we don't talk about that anymore.

  13. I played golf one time when I was little - My great uncle showed me how to hold the club & how to swing, but it just never caught on for me.

Here's to having more great afternoons w/ your family!
