Night Night...

My Stella has had her pink bear, ~Baby~, for about three years now and besides an occasional, always necessary cleaning (in the washing machine, certainly not by hand), Baby is in the same shape she was when Stella decided she couldn't possibly live without her! Can't imagine why Ms. Stella has never even attempted to tear Baby to shreds, as there have been many toy deaths over the years that can be directly attributed to, ahem, her, but this baby is safe and very well loved....by my dog....
And yes, as you can see, (Darn it! Wanted to keep that a secret!),
Stella is allowed to sleep on the couch...with (or without) her Baby.

Sleep Tight!

expect anything!

Above photos taken by my son
(who thinks he's Stella's human, but he's not, I am),
from his cell phone.
Glad he finally captured this moment, tho!

  1. I love Stella! And her little pink bear. I have a Cha Cha Maru who has two comfort blankies. Alas, he always eats the stuffed animals.

  2. Now that is adorable. Can Stelle and her pink baby come to Blog Fest next year? Twinkie extends a special invitation as long as he's not ripped to shreds.

  4. Ah .. you know she really thinks that's her baby. A friend had a Golden who did the same thing, 'adopted' a stuffed animal...

    Stella is such a beauty

  5. That has to be the sweetest "pair". My cat Thomas Jefferson has a favorite bear that he carries around in his mouth.

  6. Does Miss Stella know you posted her on the internet in a most compromising position?

  10. Ann: Every one of those my dogs had would be unstuffed quickly.

  12. Are you sure it isn't you who's allowed to sit on 'her' couch? Either way, I have sure enjoyed this post.

  13. Now Annie, that has to be the sweetest thing I've seen all week. I think it's mammal nature to 'adopt' a baby, even though it's stuffed. She is so beautiful.
