Tales out of School

A kindergartner comes into the health office. He's bumped his head, is perfectly fine, but needs some ice. He gets his ice and sits down. All the while he is staring intently at Nurse N.. Finally he speaks to her:
Buddy:  "Are you scary?"
Nurse N.:  "I don't think so...do you think I am?"
Buddy:  "Yeah, I think maybe you are."
Nurse N.:  "Well, what could I do not to be scary?"
A long pause, then finally Buddy says:
"You need to chew bubblegum, yeah bubblegum,
then you wouldn't be so scary."

Nurse N. has been chewing copious
amounts of bubblegum ever since.

expect anything!

I'm still without internet at home, and didn't have time to go "borrow" Miss MPM or jules' wireless, thus no photo today. This could be a good or bad thing, depending on your point of view. I'll be back! But photos may not occur till Saturday.
Try not to be too disappointed!

  3. Bad thing. MPM is obviously jealous. She is very funny, however.

Methinks I could tell some terribly funny Tales out of School, too! Do you teach, Annie?

...Funny how you and Kate both have cute lil' children's stories to share with us - did you two collaborate on this before you posted? :o)

  12. Nurse N is such a hoot. That's why we hit it off almost 21 years ago when we first met.
