My World - It's Lacking in Spring Bloomage

Forsythia. It's
The only thing blooming here,
Besides daffodils.

  2. The color is beautiful! This is a really lovely photo. We have so little blooming here in Seattle and it still feels like winter!

  3. Annie: That yellow flower is a sure sign of Spring.

  4. Wanted to stop by and thank you for visiting my blog.

The forsythia and daffodils just began blooming here too. Forsythia is my signal to prune back the roses and clematis, move or remove the mulch and finish any garden cleanup. It's a really late spring this year. Today the temps won't get above the 40's.

  5. We have had an outbreak of bloomage in the NW, even with all the cold rain. I'm happy to see it.

Love the yellow of the forsythia! Beautiful photo!

  7. We're a bit ahead of you here on spring, but on a long string of gray days. Sigh.

  9. Annie. I saw a pink tree somewhere yesterday. I think at Shop Rite. Maybe if you hurry over there, you can get a shot before these gale force winds blow them away. gah

  10. Forsythia is always first! Shouldn't be long before the pear trees and other follow! Hang in there! That is a lovely photo of them!

  17. Don't worry, the Bradfords and Red Buds won't be far behind! Now, what can we do about all of the clouds & rain?

  20. Ah, but you must have spring air you can breathe and smell the warmth coming. You may not be able to photograph and post it, but there is so much enjoyment in it none the less.
