Sunday Serenity is NOT Happening this Week

See the open screen door? More importantly, see the tear in the open screen door? That's thanks to our Stella-dog. She has made herself a handy-dandy little hole with which to open not one, but all 3 of our screen doors (really, someone must teach her to close the screen door after opening it, the mosquitos are killing us).
GB and I were at the dinner table last night and, for once, Stella was inside and the screen door was closed because I'd closed it once again. Imagine our utter surprise when Trey-you (that damn cat) sauntered up to the door....and jumped out! Yup, out of the very convenient hole Stella has made. Needless to say, we are not pleased. Not one little teeny tiny bit pleased. Matter of fact, GB swore. A lot. POOH!

  2. Yeah, what Marvin said.

Our cats, all four of them, are doing the same thing to our screens, front and back. We swear...a lot too! You would think one of the cats (one of the kittens actually) is named, "D@mn You!"

  3. Oh boy. My blood pressure is going up just looking at this and thinking about those incoming mosquitoes, which if they're anything like what we have, are as big as turkey buzzards.

  4. My brother had a friend that had mule actually named 'D@mn you!'

At one time we had a whole in the screen door from cats we had previous to these....now there is only glass or it would probably be the same thing.

  10. Uh, of...someone is in the doghouse. I gave up on having screen doors after the racoons and critters shredded them. I'm an AC person anyway when it is hot. Maybe if screens were wire like they used to be, animals couldn't do that. But not as pretty.

  11. I have one of those tears. I can't remember if the dog or a kid started it, but they all have made it bigger. I think mine is about 3 years old. Would be nice if someone would fix it.
