Not at all like last year...

Last year, the colors of autumn were simply magnificent!
This year, not so much.
Though we see hints of color here and there,
It's nothing like the palette we were blessed with last year.
The colors of this year won't be as good,
But there's always hints of loveliness...
Always.

  6. What about this year's photo? We could compare the before and after. Perhaps your fall splender will reveal itself a little later this season.

  7. Love the reflection!! I'm thinking fall in Missouri should be pretty great this year with all the rain we've had. It is just barely starting to turn here though.

  10. Exquisite shots and the reflections are awesome -- even without the color! But I bet it will put in an appearance soon!

    Have a great day!

  11. Isn't it early for color? I guess I never pay much attention. Our color comes right around the time the severe north winds start, which always blow the leaves away before I get down to the Esplanade with my camera.

    Gorgeous pond, Annie.
