America, America!!

Independence Day
The 4th of July

Oh, say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming!
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallently streaming!
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there!
O SAY DOES THAT STAR-SPANGLED BANNER YET WAVE
O'ER THE LAND OF THE FREE,
AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE!

  5. Nice flag photo against the sky.

I think this is the best Sky Watch Friday yet. The things I have seen are very encouraging and the photography is spot on.

I really admire your photography choices and your critical eye for composition, lighting and texture.

  16. Great catch for SWF! God and Nature first made us what we are, and then out of our own created genius we make ourselves what we want to be. Follow always that great law. Let the sky and God be our limit and Eternity our measurement.... Happy weekend! Mine's up too hope you can drop by.... here
